Switzerland is more than dramatic snowy peaks; there are gentle hikes all around. In a valley east of Zurich the little River Chur runs over limestone rocks. Along its banks layers of limestone have broken into blocks, and  mosses in in the river spray have turned them to bright velvety greens .
