Apache Plume

In the Sandia foothills above Albuquerque there are many perfect rock gardens, looking as if a skilled Japanese gardener had just created it and left moments before. This is a favorite corner of mine, with a wonderful gathering of sage, cedar, yucca, bear grass, prickly pear and the smoky, delicate Apache Plume. Its small white blossoms give off a faint perfume.
